Chapada dos Guimarães is a paradise in the center of South America. The place has an excellent hotel network, good restaurants and is just 1 hour from Cuiabá airport.

What to do in Chapada?

This more than 300-year-old municipality has around 450 waterfalls, dozens of lookouts, walks along historic trails with amazing landscapes. The main routes are Circuito das Cachoeiras, Caminho das Cavernas, Águas do Cerrado, Cachoeiras do Paraíso, Morro São Jerônimo, Cidade de Pedras and Rio Claro. However, in addition to these Classics, there are  easily accessible waterfalls, lookouts with excellent sunsets and a very diverse Fauna and Flora ideal for naturalist photographers, birdwatchers and nature lovers.

The place can be visited all year round  but it has very different climates throughout the year,  o  Tropical continental climate  Continental tropical climate  is characterized by a dry winter and a rainy summer, which does not interfere with the classic itineraries, as the rains usually fall in an occasional and temporary way. During this rainy period  there are possibilities for overnight trails with walks of up to 10 days along landscapes still unexplored by most visitors. During the dry period you can include nearby regions such as the Pantanal Norte, the paradise of the Jaguars and visit the crystalline waters of nobles and the hundreds of waterfalls of Chapada.
