The first capital of Mato Grosso is the Region that gave its name to the state in 1748, as it is a much thicker forest than the Cerrado to the Amazon Forest. The place is the ecotone of 3 Cerrado, Pantanal and Amazon biomes, It has hundreds of crystalline waterfalls and many ruins from the colonial period.

Jatoba Canyon

The Site is perhaps the most incredible place in the region, with canyons around 100 meters high. It has crystal clear waters, deep and bluish in color. It has a 4 km walk and can be done part-time.

Poaia Trail

This trek is one of the most classic in the region. In addition to being able to visit the top of the Valentine's waterfall, we can visit some charming wells on an adventure activity through Córrego do Telephone.

Cachoeira dos Namorados

Lovers's Waterfall 

The Lovers's Waterfall and Cascatinha are the most visited in the region. With a moderate trail of about 4 km, they have crystalline waters and beautiful walls with macaws, capuchin monkeys and spider monkeys.
